South and Central Texas Production Guide Available Soon

The Sorghum Checkoff will release a production handbook for the south and central regions of Texas later this month.

 

The guide maps out the most efficient sorghum production methods for the region in a pocket-sized booklet that aims to help producers improve the productivity of their sorghum. The booklet contains information on irrigation methods, nitrogen application, disease and pest control, appropriate hybrids for the south and central Texas region, and much more.

 

The Sorghum Checkoff has released several other production handbooks for various regions including West Texas, the High Plains (covering parts of Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Colorado and Nebraska), the Central and Eastern Plains (covering South Dakota, Nebraska, Northern Colorado, Missouri and Oklahoma), and the Mid-South (covering Arkansas and Louisiana eastward.
