USCP at NAICC

The Sorghum Checkoff exhibited a booth at the 2010 National Association of Independent Crop Consultants Annual Meeting. This professional association is the official voice of independent crop consultants and contract researchers, where their members directly influence management decisions on more than 27 million U.S. crop acres. Jeff Dahlberg and Shelee Padgett talked with crop consultants from across the country regarding the tools and programs USCP has to offer that can help them and their producers make decisions when it comes to planting grain sorghum. Shelee reported that the crop consultants were interested in learning more about sorghum and how the crop can be a viable rotation for producers.  The crop consultants were also excited to learn that the Sorghum Checkoff is funding research that will ultimately build a stronger sorghum industry.

Sorghum Checkoff Research Director, Jeff Dahlberg, explains the newest checkoff funded research projects and how they can help improve the sorghum industry.
