LUBBOCK, Texas (September 9, 2021) – The Sorghum Checkoff today released two requests for proposals for research and education. The first is a targeted request for full proposals in strategic areas of pet food utilization and development, sorghum physiology, and sorghum protein evaluation and development.

The second is a general request for pre-proposals in keeping with the organization’s mission of revealing the potential and versatility of sorghum through increased shared value. For this general request, full proposals will only be required after a pre-proposal is submitted and an invitation for a full proposal is sent by the Sorghum Checkoff.

The goal of each of these requests is to further enhance the opportunities for sorghum producers through specific projects and education that will increase productivity, demand and value for sorghum.

Proposals are due by 5:00 p.m. CST on November 1, 2021.
