Ingredients
4 large apples; peeled, cored and chopped
½ cup water
2 tablespoons sorghum syrup, to taste
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Instructions
Combine apples, water, sorghum syrup, cinnamon and salt in a medium pot over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and cover. Cook until apples are soft and falling apart, about 15–20 minutes, making sure to stir occasionally.
Blend with an immersion blender or transfer to a blender and blend until smooth.
