Whole Grain Grits

- 1 cup whole grain sorghum, raw
- 1 cup milk
- 3 cup water or stock of choice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- In a coffee grinder, grind the raw sorghum until a gritty dusty texture.
- Bring milk and water or stock to a boil. Turn the temperature down to medium –low heat and add the salt and grits. Slowly stir every 5 to ten minutes so it does not get stuck on the bottom of the pan. Continue to cook this way for 30 minutes.
